Today’s quote comes to us from Donald Trump.
Mr. Trump, the virtually-certain Republican candidate for President, was attacked by a Hillary Clinton ad this week, which used some of his Republican opponents’ words against him.
In case Ms. Clinton, whose attacks also have claimed Mr. Trump is waging a war on women, was wondering what she might get back for her efforts, Mr. Trump has informed her – with these words, spoken at last night’s rally in Eugene, Oregon, about Ms. Clinton’s actions on her husband’s behalf when women came forward claiming he molested and raped them:
“She’s been the total enabler. She would go after these women and destroy their lives. She was an unbelievably nasty, mean enabler, and what she did to a lot of those women is disgraceful.”
“Nobody in this country, and maybe in the history of the country politically, was worse than Bill Clinton with women.”
Did Hillary Clinton think that Donald Trump – Donald Trump – would just sit back and take it from her?
Mr. Trump wins Quote Of The Day honors for doing what seems to enjoy greatly: hitting back harder than he gets hit.
It’s a lesson Ms. Clinton better learn, and learn fast. Because, though it is true that Mr. Trump has a lot to be attacked for, so does she. And no one enjoys attacking more than Donald Trump.
Yep, he’s not going to just stand there and take it like Romney did.
