Yep, it’s starting early all right. And if you expect it to continue – and become even more censorious – over the next (election) year, I doubt you’ll be wrong.
I’m not big on regulating speech. But when the people most in charge of speech are “regulating” it to one side, that’s another story.
Think anti-trust laws.
Let me end with a note to the anti-Trump people who might be reveling in this behavior: I suggest you think long and hard about that saying, “what goes around, comes around”. There’s no guarantee that people you agree with will always control the dominant social media websites.
