Today’s quote comes from the slimeball lawyer, convicted liar and now political toy, michael cohen.
In yesterday’s testimony to the house oversight committee, cohen accused his former boss of 11 years, who he had absolutely no problem working for/collecting money from all that time this way:
“I am ashamed that I chose to take part in concealing Mr. Trump’s illicit acts rather than listening to my own conscience. I am ashamed because I know what Mr. Trump is. He is a racist. He is a conman. He is a cheat.”
Feel free to read this as:
“I am glad I got the $$$ from Trump all those years I worked for him. I’m pissed off that he ran for President, because if he didn’t I’d still be on his payroll raking in the dough, instead of heading to jail because he won the presidency so they’re out to get anyone around him and I’m so dirty I was a slam-dunk for them. So I’ll say whatever they want, and maybe they’ll cut me a break in prison, or maybe they’ll stop investigating. Because if they keep looking, they’ll find more, and I’ll wind up in prison for a lot longer. So I’ll say and do whatever I can to save my own skin.”
If you believe any accusation this “man” tosses at Trump that is based on his word – not evidence to back it up but his word – you are either beyond gullible, beyond saturated with Trump hatred or both.
I award michael cohen Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for, again, showing what a slimeball he is. With dishonorable mentions to the house oversight committee for intentionally putting this circus show of a hearing on while President Trump is overseas trying to secure a peace deal between North and South Korea (doesn’t this mean anything to them?)..
…and I award dishonorble mentions to President Trump, for hiring and paying this slimeball for all those years. Doing so suggests either astoundingly bad judgment or a need for a slimeball laywer to “fix” things. Which one of those two is the good one?
