Today’s quote comes to us from New York Supreme Court Judge Edward McLaughlin, who uttered them while sentencing tareek arnold to a 24 – 26 year stretch for attempted murder (hard to argue with the charge itself; arnold shot Jamal McCaskill four times at close range.)
Referencing the fact that both the defendant and victim are Black, Judge McLaughlin said this:
“Black lives matter. I have heard it, I know it, but the sad fact is in this courtroom, so often what happens is manifestations of the fact that Black lives don’t matter to Black people with guns.”
Edward McLaughlin wins Quote Of The Day honors, because he had the courage to speak those words – which are self-evidently true, but never spoken by politicians who pander to the segment of the Black and hard left voters which aligns with the haters at #blacklivesmatter.
