Today’s quote comes to us from Rep. adam schiff (D-CA), who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, and seems to think he is a demigod – maybe more than that – who can orchestrate the “impeachment inquiry” entirely to his liking and political motivation.

Here is schiff’s rationale for disallowing testimony from the so-called “whistleblower” whose contribution was to inform us that, while he didn’t hear the telephone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky, someone else told him about it (the insanity of taking this second-hand information seriously has already been covered numbers of times in this blog):

“The impeachment inquiry…has gathered an ever-growing body of evidence — from witnesses and documents, including the President’s own words in his July 25 call record — that not only confirms, but far exceeds, the initial information in the whistleblower’s complaint. The whistleblower’s testimony is therefore redundant and unnecessary. In light of the President’s threats, the individual’s appearance before us would only place their personal safety at grave risk,”

…the President’s own words in his July 25 call record actually debunk this “whistleblower’s claim.¬† There is no threat mentioned and no quid pro quo demanded in that call – and President Zelensky, who would have been the target of them, has stated in so many words that he was not threatened and felt no presssure to do a thing.

The President has not threatened the “whistleblower” with anything.¬† He has challenged his honesty.

And while I agree that his testimony about the telephone call would be useless – because, by his own admission, he didn’t even hear the call (which, in a sane world, would have ended his involvement right there)…

…the fact that if he is who everyone seems to know he is – Eric Ciaramella¬† – he was not a “whistleblower” at all, he was a Trump-hating Democrat operative who has a history of working with Joe Biden and John Brennan, among others is a) 100% relevant and b) 100% devastating to the farce adam schiff is presiding over.

I therefore award adam schiff Quote Of The Day “honors”, for proving – as he seems determined to do just about every time he opens his mouth – what a lying fraud he is.
