Wasn’t this “bombshell” supposed to explode?  Not implode?

Sorry, Rachel Maddow, but it’s another dressed-up dud, that got you big ratings for one night at the cost of – again – bamboozling your audience into thinking you had something of value for them.

From Jim Hoft’s article at thegatewaypundit.com, we have a very clear dismantling of the claims by Maddow guest, lev parnas – who is currently in full save-my-skin mode and happy to tell anyone anything he thinks might lesson his prison sentence or maybe keep him out of jail altogether.

A few excerpts:

During the interview Parnas, an obscure Republican donor, indicted President Trump, Vice President Pence, Rudy Giuliani, AG Bill Barr, Joe di Genova, Victoria Toensing and Rep. Devin Nunes.

After the interview the Department of Justice  published a response to Lev Parnas and his claims saying his comments about Bill Barr were “100% false.”

President Trump flat out denied he knew Lev Parnas.

For the record, back in November the spokesman for the Ukrainian President said Les Parnas was lying on his so-called meeting with President Zelensky.

And on Thursday CNN’s Christiane Amanpour interviewed Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko who refuted Parnas saying, “Frankly I never spoke with this individual. And again frankly I don’t trust any word again he’s now saying.”

And former Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin announced recently he is willing to join Rep. Devin Nunes in a lawsuit against Parnas for his big lie that the two met in Vienna to plot strategy.

Nunes was in Malta and Benghazi at the time and never traveled to Vienna in 2018.

Other than that?  Very credible.

Yes, lev parnas has pictures of him with President Trump.  As does every big donor, who gives $$$ to get, among other things, a photo op and a few seconds to chat with the beneficiary of his/her monetary largesse.

Other than that, there is absolutely nothing that establishes any credibility for lev parnas.  Nothing.

Our media, of course, were more than happy to pump up the “bombshell” interview, though, and give Maddow a big night ratings-wise.  But now that the parties he implicated have all said parnas is full of crap?  Media are on to something – anything – else.

The two great findings of this fiasco are that Rachel Maddow’s “bombshells” are duds and mainstream media are thoroughly biased.

Hmmm, didn’t we know that already?  I guess there are no great findings at all.

  • Trump and I are best buds, he sends me mail all the time.
Whether it is email or snail-mail he always puts his picture on either the envelope or one of the pages.
Yep, proof of our tight relationship.
