As California Governor Jerry Brown makes a show of allowing illegal aliens with felony records to stay in his delusional “sanctuary state”, I thought you might be interested in seeing something he isn’t making such a public show of.
Here is the headline, and sub-heads, from Phoebe Southworth’s article in London’s Daily Mail:
Welcome to Skid Row 2017: Shocking scale of homelessness in downtown LA is exposed in footage showing sidewalks lined with dozens of tents in deprived area where 20,000 people live on the streets
- Three-minute LiveLeak clip shows the brutal reality of Christmas Day in the underbelly of Downtown LA
- Shot on 5th Street, 6th Steet and San Pedro in the Skid Row district, it captures life in one of the city’s most notorious homeless hotspots
- Rubbish bags litter the streets and tents have been erected to shelter residents – including women and children
- Rising cost of living in California is also forcing middle class residents to live in their cars in affluent areas
Impressed? Me neither.
How about you, Governor? Any press conferences to be held on this part of your Gubernatorial legacy? Maybe a list-out of everything you, and Mayor Eric Garcetti, have done to alleviate the other Los Angeles problem?
Or are you too busy basking in the glow of keeping illegals safe in California, thus making sure that when election day rolls around they get out to vo….oh, wait, we’re supposed to believe that none of the millions of illegals in California vote. Sorry, what’s wrong with me anyway.
