THE NEW YORK TIMES: PARTISAN HATRED OVER ACCURACY (AGAIN)

I’ll make this short and to the point.

According to Joseph A. Wolfsuhn’s article for Fox News (you know, the folks who, supposedly don’t get things right):The following tweet was put up by New York Times Wajahat Ali:

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, had a sharp response to a New York Times writer who accused him of not supporting the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.

NYT contributing op-ed writer Wajahat Ali blasted Republicans on Twitter Tuesday and attempted to question their patriotism for not backing the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. He also claimed Crenshaw hasn’t sponsored the fund’s renewal while praising the involvement of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.

“Anytime a Republican says they are ‘patriots’ ask them if they voted to fund the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. You know who’s for it? Ilhan Omar. You know who hasn’t sponsored it? Dan Crenshaw,” Ali wrote in the now-deleted tweet.

He then told Crenshaw, “I hope you do the right thing. If not, why aren’t you?”

Crenshaw responded, telling Ali he was a co-sponsor of the fund.

“Hey ‘journalist,’ maybe you should check your facts. I am a co-sponsor. Nice try though,” Crenshaw tweeted.

This guy writes op-eds for the New York Times?

Maybe he can team up with sarah jeong, who the Times named to its editorial board even after it became public knowledge that she put up these overtly racist and sexist tweets, among others (if you have trouble reading this, a larger version is available here):

Why would The Times have no problem with a racist, sexist pig like this?  Because, in the eyes of today’s New York Times, her hatred of White people and men is the “good racism”.   See, you’re allowed to hate White people and men – especially old White men – because they deserve it.  All of them (except, I suspect, the ones who run the New York Times).

This is where The Times has descended.  Fact-challenged people like Wajahat Ali and haters like sarah jeong.

Do you think this is as bad as it gets?  Do you think the paper has hit rock bottom yet?

I don’t.
