THE NEW YORK TIMES: HEELING BEFORE ITS MASTERS

On Sunday, Senate Democrats sandbagged Republicans (not to mention the nation which needs this legislation) by blocking action on the $1.8 trillion dollar stimulus package worked on for days by both parties and supposedly put together in good faith.

The New York Times’ headline for this story was:

Democrats Block Action on $1.8 Trillion Stimulus

I wonder if the person who wrote the New York Times’ original headline is still employed there.

Because shortly after using this headline, it was changed to include the claimed Democrat rationale for blocking the package after both parties worked on it for both days and supposedly put it together in good faith:

Democrats Block Action on Stimulus Plan, Seeking Worker Protections

Not good enough.

Then, again in a short period of time, the headline was changed to:

Partisan Divide Threatens Deal on Rescue Plan

Now it’s nobody’s fault.  Certainly not the Democrats.

In a matter of hours it was the Democrats’ action, then yeah, Democrats did it but just to protect the workers, then Democrats didn’t do it at all.

Same story.

Good doggies, good doggies.  Here’s a bone for you.  And be careful never to do that again.
