THE NEW YORK TIMES’ ELECTION DASHBOARD

Apropos of nothing logical…

As I type this, the New York Times’ “Election dashboardshows Democrats have won 222 house seats won by Democrats – 4 more than they need for a majority – and Republicans have won 51 senate seats – 1 more than they need for a majority.

And directly under those numbers, the “dashboard” shows a 95% probability for Democrats to win a house majority and a 95% probability for Republicans to win a Senate majority.

95%?  When both already have a majority?

Uh….I think I’ll look elsewhere for my election information…
