Why does the sun go on shining?

Why does the sea rush to shore?

Don’t they know it’s The End of the World

‘Cause Kennedy won’t be there any more

Skeeter Davis had a big hit with that song in 1962, when she sang “’cause you don’t love me anymore”.

But based on how our hard-left media folk have reacted to Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his retirement and President Donald Trump picking his successor, I felt a word change was in order.

Want specifics as to why?

OK.  But get ready.  Because this roughly two-minute video, put together by Washington Free Beacon (, compiling their reactions might scare the excrement out of you.

Don’t say you haven’t been warned:

And how do you figure they’ll react if Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85 years old and in poor health,  or 80 year old Stephen Breyer, is next?

The moral of this story for Democrats?  When the Republican Party runs someone so unelectable that it is a virtual certainty only one major Democrat could lose to him, don’t fix your nominating process to guarantee that one major Democrat is your candidate.

You might want to keep this in mind for 2020…..
