Here, according to Baltimore\’s ABC affiliate, WJLA, is the report on Freddie Gray\’s death.
And, like the Michael Brown findings, it is going to enrage the professional race-baiters, the professional agitators and the professional rioters/looters/arsonists.
From Brad Bell\’s article at the station\’s web site:
An investigation into the death of Baltimore resident Freddie Gray has found no evidence that his fatal injuries were caused during the videotaped arrest and interaction with police officers, according to multiple law enforcement sources.
The sources spoke to ABC7 News after being briefed on the findings of a police report turned over to prosecutors on Thursday as well as preliminary findings made by the medical examiner\’s office.
Sources said the medical examiner found Gray\’s catastrophic injury was caused when he slammed into the back of the police transport van, apparently breaking his neck; a head injury he sustained matches a bolt in the back of the van.
Details surrounding exactly what caused Gray to slam into the back of the van was unclear. The officer driving the van has yet to give a statement to authorities. It\’s also unclear whether Gray\’s head injury was voluntary or was a result of some other action.
As you can see, there is no clear, decisive evidence that the police had anything to do with Gray\’s death. (This is not to say it didn\’t happen, it is to say that we may never know for sure one way or the other).
That means, it seems self-evident, that there inherently is reasonable doubt regarding how Freddie Gray died, thus there can be no successful prosecution of the police for his death.
Which means, it seems self evident, that the professional race-baiters, the professional agitators and the professional rioters/looters/arsonists who are chafing at the bit to crank things up again, will do just that.
Which means, it seems self-evident, that if you thought the the streets were dangerous before, they are going to be that much more dangerous now….unless Governor Hogan takes precedence over Mayor Stephanie “we gave those who wished to destroy space to do that” Rawlings-Blake, that is.
I cringe at what is likely to happen both in Baltimore and in other cities where similar street activity might take place.
