Excerpted from Lazar Berman’s article at timesofisrael.com:
The commander of the Basij militia of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that “erasing Israel off the map” is “nonnegotiable,” according to an Israel Radio report Tuesday.Militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi also threatened Saudi Arabia, saying that the offensive it is leading in Yemen “will have a fate like the fate of Saddam Hussein.”Naqdi’s comments were made public as Iran and six world powers prepared Tuesday to issue a general statement agreeing to continue nuclear negotiations in a new phase aimed at reaching a comprehensive accord by the end of June.
Enjoy the negotiation, Barack. Happy deal-making, John. I’m sure that allowing an additional three months – as Iran goes on its merry way building the nuclear capability your negotiated deal is supposed to prevent – will be a great amusement to them.
But it won’t be an amusement to Israel, the country in Iran’s crosshairs.
And if Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, whose country is in mortal danger, concludes that your clown show is facilitating Israel’s demise, so he decides to do something about it while there is still time, I’m sure you’ll have all the right condemnations ready for him.
After all, who said you weren’t men of action?
