Did you know that, Rep. Devin Nunes (-CA), ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, wrote a letter to adam schiff (D-CA), who chairs the committee?
Here are a few “highlights” (I’m not sure that term fits very well), pulled from Joel B. Pollak’s article at breitbart.com:
House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) wrote to the committee’s chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), on Sunday, suggesting that after a series of lies, “it is clear you are in need of rehabilitation.”
Nunes writes: “After publishing false conclusions of such enormity on a topic directly within this committee’s oversight responsibilities, it is clear you are in need of rehabilitation, and I hope this letter will serve as the first step in that vital process.”ust rehabilitation.
He lists several claims in the Schiff memo that, he notes, proved false — such as the claim that “[t]he DOJ “made only narrow use of information from [Christopher] Steele’s sources about Page’s specific activities in 2016.”
Next, Nunes lists several findings from the IG report. “Despite your denial of any problems with the FISA warrant,” for example, Nunes writes, “…[i]nformation provided by Christopher Steele played a ‘central and essential role’ in the decision to seek a FISA warrant on Carter Page.” He then adds: “As you know, your misguided validation of the FISA warrant was part of a years-long pattern in which you touted Christopher Steele’s credentials and reliability.”
Nunes notes that Schiff used an intelligence committee hearing in March 2017 to read “numerous conspiracy theories proffered by Steele” into the congressional record. None of those were true, the IG report determined.
As we have chronicled over and over in this blog, adam schiff is a liar.
He is a serial liar who relies on the safeness of his all-Democrat-all-the-time congressional district and the acquiescence of most media to perpetuate his lies.
What Devin Nunes wrote about schiff is true, every word of it. And there is more. So much more.
Incidentally, schiff is saying that, if there is an impeachment, he will refuse to testify before the Senate because he is not a “fact witness”.
To make this claim, he is asking us to believe that, although the “whistleblower” had significant contact with his staff, he didn’t know a thing about it.
We’re supposed to believe that load of BS? schiff”s mother wouldn’t believe it.
My only disagreement with Rep. Nunes is that adam schiff needs rehabilitation. adam schiff needs to profusely apologize to us for his lies, and resign the House in disgrace. Neither of which he will do; not with media committed to looking the other way on his behalf.
