The evidence of collusion with Russia is massive, and continues to mount.

The problem for Trump haters, however, is that the evidence has nothing to do with him.  It has to do with Democrats.

Here is the latest, excerpted from Ed Henry’s article at

Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee who has been leading a congressional investigation into President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, had extensive contact last year with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch who was offering Warner access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, according to text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News.

“We have so much to discuss u need to be careful but we can help our country,” Warner texted the lobbyist, Adam Waldman, on March 22, 2017.

“I’m in,” Waldman, whose firm has ties to Hillary Clinton, texted back to Warner.

Waldman is best known for signing a $40,000 monthly retainer in 2009 and 2010 to lobby the U.S. government on behalf of controversial Russian billionaire Oleg V. Deripaska. Deripraska had his visa revoked by the State Department in 2006 because of charges, which he has denied, that he has organized crime ties.

That is pretty damning, wouldn’t you say?   And if the above is not enough for you, use the link I’ve provided, read Mr. Henry’s entire article, and see the actual texts it references.

Do you need me to tell you that if Senator Mark Warner were a Republican and Adam Waldman had ties to the Trump campaign, this would be lead story/front page news throughout media today?

But, if this past year’s rich history of Democrat/Russian collusion is any indication, it either will be ignored, or downplayed in some way to minimize its importance.

At no time in my memory – and that memory is almost 72 years old – have mainstream media disgraced themselves more completely than they have regarding the “Russian collusion” issue and the evidence there is regarding Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Based on the selective, often intentionally misleading, coverage they have provided, a great many people – less than before, I believe, but still a great many – believe Donald Trump was in cahoots with Russia up to his neck and Hillary Clinton was nothing more than a victim.

In other words, media are keeping them ignorant and playing them for fools.

There is a lot to dislike about Donald Trump.  I have made no secret of my feelings about him from the time he declared himself a candidate right into his presidency.  I neither supported nor voted for him.

But our media have turned me into his constant defender.  Why?  Because their bias in covering Mr. Trump and his presidency is so pervasive and so dishonest it leaves me – or anyone else interested in the truth – no choice.

In 1987, when Raymond Donovan, Secretary of Labor under President Reagan, was cleared of spurious fraud and grand larceny charges, he famously asked “Which office do I go to to get my reputation back”. There, of course, was no such office for Secretary Donovan to go to then.  Too bad; he deserved better.

Now, in 2018, there is no such office for most mainstream media to get their reputation back.  But in their case, it they damn well deserve for the reputation they’ve created to stay just the way it is.
