Doesn’t Jerrold Nadler have something more productive to do?
Or is it just that he has spent so many years being a partisan political hack, a Democrat drone in a safer-than-safe district who will never be challenged as long as he votes the straight party line, that he doesn’t have to be productive at all?
From Brooke Singman’s article at foxnews.com:
House Judiciary Committee Democrats announced Tuesday that they plan to authorize subpoenas later this week for a dozen individuals connected to President Trump as part of the panel’s escalating probe into obstruction of justice, public corruption and other alleged abuses by the president.
The list of targets includes Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner as well as former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his old deputy Rod Rosenstein.
Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said Tuesday that the panel is moving forward with “efforts to request information from critical witnesses as part of our ongoing investigation into obstruction, corruption, and abuse of power by the President and his associates.”
The committee plans to mark up the resolution authorizing the subpoenas on Thursday, an effort that comes ahead of high-profile hearings next week featuring former Special Counsel Robert Mueller himself.
Am I mistaken, or didn’t Robert Mueller, and his gang of all-Democrat investigators (not one Republican among them), spend two years scouring every nook and cranny to find collusion and obstruction of justice by Donald Trump?
And didn’t that two year investigation conclude there was no collusion at all, and insufficient evidence to pursue even one instance of obstruction of justice (no surprise there: if there was no collusion, what justice could Trump possibly be obstructing?)
But, like Captain Ahab obsessively going after Moby Dick, Nadler is going to conduct more investigations into exactly what was not found by Mueller.
I guess that is far more important than doing anything that benefits the country.
Hey, I have an idea: maybe he should call his fellow Democrat, Adam Schiff, to testify.
Schiff, as you probably remember, spent the entire two years that Mueller was conducting his witch hunt telling us he had “ample evidence” of collusion by Trump. But, for some strange, mystical reason, he has never provided it – not to Mueller’s “investigation” and not since it ended.
What a great time to put it out there and prove he was right all along…
…unless, of course, Schiff, and Nadler, are full of crap and all they’re interested in is another stupid political stunt instead of doing something meaningful.
What a pair of losers these two are.
