As I assume you are aware, a group of left wing street thugs attacked Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s home two nights ago.
They vandalized his property, damaged his front door, and screamed vile epithets – in one case relating to a pipe bomb. This, understandably, terrified Mr. Carlson’s wife, who was home alone at the time and defenseless against them.
The thugs, who are well known to us, call themselves “antifa” – a contraction of “anti-fascist” (which, based on their behavior, is roughly the equivalent of hitler youth calling itself “antinazi”).
Most reaction to these pigs has been negative. But far from all of it. In this regard, I thought you might be interested in what one of the co-founders of the left wing website “Vox” had to say about it.
From John Nolte’s article at breitbart.com:
Vox.com co-founder Matthew Yglesias defended a group of left-wing antifa members terrorizing Tucker Carlson’s wife.
On Wednesday night, a mob of about 20 members of a group called Smash Racism, which is part of the left-wing terrorist group Antifa, gathered outside the home of Fox News star Tucker Carlson. He was preparing to go on the air at the time and not at home, but his wife was, and according to video posted by the group itself, this was much more than a protest.
Using a bullhorn, the group chanted threats: “Racist scumbag, leave town.”
A second chant was even more threatening: “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”
Carlson told Fox News the terrorists “rang his doorbell, broke his oak door” and that his wife “called the police and locked herself into a pantry.”
Despite all of this, Ygelsias admitted he had “no empathy” for Carlson’s wife of 22 years and admitted that “the idea behind terrorizing [Carlson’s] family … is to make them feel some of the fear that the victims of MAGA-inspired violence feel thanks to the non-stop racial incitement coming from Tucker, Trump, etc.”
Thankfully, Carlson’s four children were not at home when Antifa struck, but Yglesias obviously feels Carlson’s entire family, including his children, do not deserve empathy when terrorized.
So matthew yglesias – and, again, he is far from the only leftist who feels this way – is just fine with a hate group (what else would you call them) terrorizing a woman and maybe her children (beng the cowards they are, they intentionally struck when Carlson would have been at Fox studios) for the “crime” of having different political views than he/they do.
What I’d like to know is why the police did either did not get there in time to arrest these thugs as they vandalized the Carlson home, or did get there and allowed the haters to go free.
Doesn’t this guarantee there will be more of the same?
And what happens when, next time, that threat of a pipe bomb becomes a reality? Or someone inside the home that is being attacked has weapons inside and decides to defend him/herself?
This cannot continue. These people have to be stopped.
As for matthew yglesias? I doubt there’s anything you can do with a hate-infested jerk like him. But if you can come up with something – legal, of course – please let me know.
UPDATE: According to Nicolas Fondacaro’s article at newsbusters.org, neither NBC or ABC bothered to report the attack on Tucker Carlson’s home in there morning or evening newscasts.
Do you think they would have done the same if it were one of their show hosts?
How either of these networks can do this, and still lay claim to having legitimate news departments, is a mystery to me.
