It has been quite a run for left wing “civility”.
Earlier this week, DHS Secretary Kirstjen Neilsen was hounded out of a Mexican restaurant by leftists chanting angry and profane slogans. After she was gone the owner of the restaurant said he was glad that they did it.
This may have been the impetus for another group of angry leftists to gather outside her home and scream slogans at her; among them “no justice no sleep” – a sentiment that, I assume, was not lost on Ms. Neisen’s neighbors, who were treated to the same disruption of their lives that she was.
And now we have this, via Josh Feldman’s article at mediaite.com:
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed reporting this morning that she was kicked out of a restaurant.
Huckabee Sanders claims it was because of her boss, President Trump:
TMZ reported earlier this morning on the incident:
The waiter at The Red Hen said, “I just served Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her other family members.”
Others say the owner didn’t want Huckabee Sanders in the restaurant out of “moral conviction.”
Lovely. Agree with my politics or I will kick you out of my restaurant along with your children. I have moral convictions, you see.
This is today’s left wing, in all its glory. Hateful and intolerant.
No one, and I do mean no one, hates more completely and more intensely then the left. And they are aided and abetted in this ugly frame of reference by most of our mainstream media (have you heard any howls of protest from media about any of the incidents referenced above?)
I wonder when they realize that this is a primary reason Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. And, if Democrats do not win the house of representatives in 2018, a primary reason for that as well.
If I were a Republican, I would hope the answer to both those questions is “never”.
UPDATE: The restaurant owner, stephanie wilkinson, says that, if given the chance, she would do it again.
I wouldn’t count on another chance, stephanie. Live happily ever after in your bubble, as you moralize about other people being intolerant.
