I know this has been written many times – certainly in this blog. But, every now and then, it bears repeating so that readers keep it top-of-mind.
The unevidenced, unsubstantiated accusation against Donald Trump – that he threatened to withhold aid from the Ukraine unless it did something beneficial for him…
… is exactly, precisely, what Joe Biden did do when he was Vice President of the United States and acting as President Obama’s emissary to Ukraine.
In case you don’t remember that this is absolutely, unequivocally, indisputably true, here is the video of Biden, telling us in his own words, that he demanded the Ukrainian prosecutor be fired or he would withhold $1 billion in aid to the country:
That clear enough for you?
And what was the prosecutor looking into, that Biden made that overt threat over?
He was looking into the fact that Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was handed a no-show, do-nothing “job” he had zero qualifications for – on the Board of Directors of Burisma, the Ukraine energy company – for which he received millions of dollars.
In other words, Vice President Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion dollars in aid from the Ukraine, unless the prosecutor who was investigating a situation that he had a direct personal interest in, was fired.
THAT is a quid pro quo. Dead center.
And it is what our media have done everything they can to bury – while claiming, incredibly, that there is no evidence to substantiate the quid pro quo you just saw definitive video of.
I’ll end by asking a simple question: if there were a video of Donald Trump saying the exact same words Biden did, about withholding money unless the investigation he wanted took place, do you think these same media would be burying it? Or do you think they would be featuring it as undeniable proof Trump committed an impeachable offense and should be removed from office.
Please think about this. It’s more than our completely compromised media will.
