This week, Hillary CLinton was interviewed by the London Daily Guardian.
And, when asked if she was ready to “call it a day” and retire from politics, Ms. Clinton said this:
“It feels like a duty. It feels like patriotism, and it feels necessary. I’m not going anywhere.”
Republicans everywhere owe Ms. Clinton a major debt of gratitude.
Seriously, who has done more for the Republican Party than Hillary Clinton?
Maybe President Trump’s 2020 campaign slogan should be “I’m not with her, but with Hillary around Republicans are stronger together”.
Oh, did I mention that she also compared herself to Winston Churchill?
Another Clinton quote from the interview, relating to whether she should call it a day:
“I’m sure they said that about Churchill between the wars, didn’t they?”
Clinton then said:
“I mean, I’m not comparing myself, but I’m just saying people said that, but he was right about Hitler, and a lot of people in England were wrong. And Churchill was a pain. He kept popping up all the time.”
In other words, “I’m not comparing myself to Churchill, but I’m just like him. Got it (wink, wink)?
If Hillary starts chomping on cigars and demanding that Robert Mueller start investigating Neville Chamberlain, let me know.
