If you think Hillary Clinton’s 2016 debacle finally put her into presidential retirement…
…you better read this excerpt from the latest article by “Tyler Durden” at zerohedge.com:
Based on bookies’ bets and a few recent actions, speculation is once again starting to grow that Hillary Clinton may be about to enter the Democratic Party presidential nominee race…
First, the repeatedly failed presidential candidate has a suddenly full media schedule this week, making appearances on CBS Sunday Morning, Stephen Colbert, and The View among others.
Secondly, as GatewayPundit notes, in the interview with CBS Sunday Morning that is airing this weekend, Clinton said that things happened during 2016 campaign that will not happen again, implying that she may be planning to try again.
“Look, there were many funny things that happened in my election that will not happen again,” Clinton said. “And I’m hoping that both the public and press understand the way Trump plays the game.”
Remember Hillary’s “I take responsibility for the loss, but here’s why it wasn’t my fault” exit tour, after Donald Trump, arguably the most unelectable presidential candidate of the century, cleaned her electoral clock in 2016? As you can see above, she’s still making excuses today.
But Hillary’s self-pity is not the issue here. it is whether she thinks the country is finally ready to put her in the White House.
And with the three major candidates this time around being the Joe Biden, whose political career now seems mortally wounded, Elizabeth “Rich Democrat Donors Can Go To Hell” Richards and Bug-eyed Bernie, it is no surprise that Hillary sees an opening…
…providing she can traverse these issues (among others):
-Would the Democrat Party really sign on to another run by Clinton?
-Would a Clinton candidacy be approved by “the squad” – i.e. four first-term House members who self-segregated themselves from White and male Democrats, and now counter every every criticism with “you’re just against women of color” (a little like the kid who murders his parents and then pleads for mercy from the court because he’s an orphan)?
-Would another Clinton run help or hurt Donald Trump’s re-election campaign?
Well, get ready: there is a serious chance that we may find out.
