… we have this tweet, brought to us by Design Lead for Google, David Hogue:
You are finished, @GOP. You polished the final nail for your own coffins. FUCK. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL.
I hope the last images burned into your slimy, evil, treasonous retinas are millions of women laughing and clapping and celebrating as your souls descend into the flames.
Now who could possibly see any bias in that?
The answer is enough people so that Hogue subsequently took down the tweet.
But, in case you think this was due to any contrition on his part, here is what he put up even then:
Yes, I deleted that tweet.
Yes, those opinions are mine personally, and I am responsible for them.
Yes, I should have been more eloquent and less condemning.
Yes, I still believe the @GOP is wrong and not serving your best interests.
Yes, I still believe we can do much better.
See, the problem was not the sentiment. The problem was the eloquence level.
But Google is not biased. Their people do not do that kind of thing. Just ask them.
And then ask yourself if they think you have an IQ below 31, which is what it would take to believe them.
