From Rebecca Savransky’s article for Reuters – published yesterday, and picked up by countless mainstream media venues:

Deutsche Bank has reportedly been subpoenaed by special counsel Robert Mueller to provide information on President Trump’s accounts.

Reuters, citing an unidentified source, reported that the bank received the subpoena several weeks ago and was asked to give data on accounts of Trump and his family.

The Trump Organization has been loaned millions of dollars from Deutsche Bank, the news outlet reported.

From Sarah Huckabee Sanders, President Trump’s Press Secretary:

“We confirmed that the news reports the special counsel had subpoenaed financial records related to the president are completely false.  No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources. I think this is another example of the media going too far and too fast and we don’t see it going in that direction”.

Are Deutsche Bank and/or Ms. Sanders lying about this?  Or is it the latest in a continuing series of fake news reports by a mainstream media which hate Donald Trump’s guts and will run, not walk, to put out damaging material about him whether or not they know it to be accurate?

You tell me.

  • It is a good thing that these negative stories that aren’t true are offset by positive ones that aren’t true.
Now that you have caught your breath.
Why doesn’t the FCC crack down on this blatant disregard for accuracy?
