Chris Hayes is a hard-left comentator who, for years, has hosted a prime time TV show on MSNBC.
And now, as Hollywood self-destructs, and Roy Moore is assailed over accusations he has no possible way of fighting, Hayes has had an epiphany.
Yesterday, he tweeted this (the typo is Hayes’, not mine):
As gross and cynical and hypocrtical as the right’s “what about Bill Clinton” stuff is, it’s also true that Democrats and the center left are overdue for a real reckoning with the allegations against him.
We see, Chris.
For all the years you have had your show, and throughout the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, which featured attacks on exactly, precisely, 100% what Hubby Bubba did, you now claim to have come to a realization that, hey, maybe we should notice his behavior – with three insults tossed at people on “the right”, just in case anyone believed for a minute that you sincerely gave a damn.
Who are “the right”, Chris? Do you tar every person appalled by Bill Clinton’s behavior/Hillary Clinton’s enablement with that brush? Do you truly believe only gross, cynical, hypocrtical (sic) right wingers point his behavior out? That people in the center and even (gasp!) with you on the left, have been OK with it until now?
This, folks, is the Chris Hayes mindset; one, it should be pointed out, that is shared with most other show hosts on MSNBC.
It goes a long way toward explaining the nature of his epiphany, doesn’t it?
