CAN JOE CROWLEY STILL WIN?

Here’s an interesting little tidbit for you:  Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) the 10-term incumbent Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defeated in the Democrat primary, is still on the ballot.  His name is on something called the Working Families Party.

Under normal circumstances, this would be little more than asterisk material.  But, as Ocasio-Cortez – who DNC Chair Tom Perez called “the future of our party” – continues to make astoundingly stupid comments, show unsettling ignorance on major issues, and generally become a laughingstock (illustratively, every Democrat candidate she supported in yesterday’s primaries lost), Joe Crowley’s name looms larger and larger.

Would it surprise me if, somewhere between now and election day, Crowley jumps back in big-time, with a “she’s a disaster and we can’t have a disaster on our side of the aisle” message, promising to caucus with Democrats if he wins?

No it would not.  I don’t expect it, but it certainly could happen.

Either way, it’s going to be Democrat from that, petrified, zombified, Democrats-only district.  The only question is whether it’s Crowley or Ocasio-Cortez.

Let’s keep an eye on this one.

  • Habersham County’s Mud Creek precinct in northeastern Georgia had 276 registered voters ahead of the state’s primary elections in May.

But 670 ballots were cast, according to the Georgia secretary of state’s office, indicating a 243 percent turnout.

If they are willing to do something like that, how will D’s ever lose another race????
