Black Lives Matter Political Correctness (BLMPC) claims another victim:
“The university ended the employment of Dr. Neal-Boylan on June 19 after 10 months in her role as dean of the Solomont School of Nursing. As with all such decisions, it was made in the best interest of the university and its students.”
What you just read is the University of Massachusetts-Lowell’s explanation of why it fired its Dean of the Solomont School of Nursing, Leslie Neal-Boylan.
And what great transgression did Ms. Neal-Boylan commit that was so egregious it got her summarily tossed out?
It was because, as noted in Addison Smith’s article for campusreform.org, she wrote this in an email:
“I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color,” Neal-Boylan wrote in the email. “Recent events recall a tragic history of racism and bias that continue to thrive in this country. I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone,” she added.
“Dear SSON Community, I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color. Recent events recall a tragic history of racism and bias that continue to thrive in this country. I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone. BLACK LIVES MATTER, but also, EVERYONE’S LIFE MATTERS.”
“No one should have to live in fear that they will be targeted for how they look or what they believe”.
Waiting for more? If so, it will be a long one, because there isn’t any more.
That’s right. Ms Neal-Boylan broke the unbreakable rule. She said that everyone’s life matters. In other words, she said that lives other than Black lives matter. And that was quite enough for her to be tossed out.
This is not just everyday insane. This is insane at a level that would make the Mad Hatter look like a crisis negotiator by comparison. But it is true.
Has this school gone so far into Lunaticville that it believes saying all races should be seen in equal terms is RACIST, but specifying one race over all others is NOT?
The answer is yes.
Oh, by the way, tuition for this insane asylum is $14,590 per year (in-state) and $26,370 per year (out-of-state). That, of course, is before room, board, books and a competent psychiatrist to help students figure out why they would ever go to such a place.
