THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from one Ryan Tronovitch – a spokesperson for North Carolina’s Republican Governor, Pat McCrory, while speaking about the case of Henry L. McCollum and his half-brother, Leon Brown. In 1983, Mr. McCollum and Mr. Brown, then teenagers, were arrested and charged with the rape and murder of an 11 year old girl, Sabrina Buie.  They were convicted in 1984...

RON FOURNIER\’S WARNING

Ron Fournier is National Journal\’s Senior Political Columnist and Editorial Director.  Mr. Fournier is avidly disliked by the left, because he has no problem seeing things as they are – which means, sometimes seeing things in a way that would be pleasing/beneficial to Republicans as well as Democrats. Here is an example:  his take on the two Hillary...

THE CLINTON FOUNDATION\’S FOREIGN CONTRIBUTORS

This is an easy blog to write.  I\’ll just put up the following excerpt from Julianna Goldman\’s article for CBS news, and ask you to think about what Democrats would be saying if this were a Republican presidential candidate: A CBS News investigation has found that at least one foreign company with close ties to its government has been giving generously to the...

THE BRUNCH WARS (CONT.)

The brunch wars continue. This footage, shot yesterday, is a group of “protesters”: -ambushing patrons eating brunch in a Portland, Oregon restaurant (i.e. where they are a captive audience), -forcing them to listen to their responsive-reading propaganda, including list-out of Black people killed either “by police, armed security guards or self-appointed...

DURST: A CREDIBILITY TEST

You are being asked to believe that, the day HBO airs the final part of its series on Robert Durst, it just happens to come across – and incorporate into the show – Durst wandering into a bathroom, while wearing a hot mike,  where he confesses to a murder – actually more than one of them –  while audibly talking to himself, or maybe to a urinal. Do you? One other...

THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today\’s quote comes to us from that Blast From The Past, James Carville, who – with all the freshness of last year\’s leftover matzoh meal, has resurfaced to try his hand at protecting Hillary Clinton from her own words and actions. Here is his explanation of why Ms. Clinton\’s email scandal is so “beneficial” to her (that\’s right...

OIL PRICES

It is currently 8:50 Monday morning.  West Texas Intermediate oil is trading at $44.17 a barrel. This is the lowest I have seen since just after the end of the Bush administration. But gas prices are still almost the same as a week ago when oil was at $51 – $53 a barrel. A 12% – 16% drop in oil, and almost no drop in gas prices?  That has “gouging”...

COLBERT KING EXPLAINS THE LETTER

I wanted to read Colbert King\’s entire piece.  I really did. King, who writes for the Washington Post, gave us a commentary yesterday on why he objected to the letter 47Republican senators signed which told Iran that, withoutcongressional approval, any deal it makes with the USA is an”executive agreement” – entirely revocable any timea President decides to do so...

THE OBAMA & KERRY NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION DEAL

Is the “deal” Barack Obama and John Kerry are cuttingwith Iran supposed to lessen the threat of nuclear weapons in thehands of people who might then use them? The answer, ostensibly, is yes. But in reality – like just about every other facet of foreignpolicy put together by the hopelessly inept, incompetent Mr. Obamaand the hopelessly useless Mr. Kerry, it is likely to be a...
