ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ: EDUCATOR?

You can’t make this stuff up.

And with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez supplying the material, why would you even bother to try?

From Christal Hayes’ article for USA Today, we have this gem:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took on what her life could be like in another world, in another time where Donald Trump was not the president.

While appearing on the premiere of Showtime’s new talk show “Desus & Mero,” Ocasio-Cortez was asked what she would have done if she hadn’t decided to run for Congress, joining a large pool of women who ran in the midterms in direct response to Trump winning the 2016 election.

Mero asked if Trump hadn’t become president, “would you have run for Congress?”

“I don’t know!” Ocasio-Cortez told the pair. “I could just be like teaching in high school right now.”

“I could just be like teaching in high school right now.”  Try to let that sink in.

Yep, if Hillary had won, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would have gotten her teaching license and been influencing teenage minds right now.  But, because that dastard (and I don’t mean dastard) Donald Trump won, instead of being an educator she turned to her fallback position of bartending instead.

Damn that Trump!  I wonder if this had anything to do with Russian collusion.  I think we should demand that robert mueller expand his investigation to find out.

Well, not to worry, Alexandria.  If the congress gig doesn’t pan out you can always claim you’re Native American and apply for a professorship at Harvard.  It’s worked for one of your colleagues, so why not you too.

Almost two more years of this (and the virtual certainty her congressional district will re-elect her in a landslide).

You can’t say it won’t be an interesting ride.

  • AOC is what you get when you let anyone vote. My friend votes in every election and doesn’t watch or read any news or current events, it just seems wrong to me.
