A TASTE OF THE OLD RUDY GIULIANI

Want to see Rudy Giuliani when he’s working on all cylinders?

If so, you will greatly enjoy this encounter with Chuck Todd from the April 21 edition of Meet The Press, when there was a brief re-emergence of the old Giuliani.

Here is what I wrote about it at the time…

Giuliani blew Todd away so completely, and defended President Trump so effectively, that it should be a case study for political science students from now on, to show how it is done… and a case study for journalism students to learn what can happen when an arrogant lightweight partisan like Chuck Todd goes up against somebody as brilliant, knowledgeable and capable as the old, resurrected version of Rudy Giuliani.

Todd was reduced to breaking in and lamely reciting little more than Democrat talking points, which Giuliani effortlessly deflected, while putting a hurt on Todd that he won’t soon forget.

…and here is the video:

Wow.  And double wow.   What a world-class whomping.  A half year later, and I’d bet Todd is still chafing from the butt-kicking he got.

Mr. Giuliani’s performance in that video is why it is so difficult to watch him when he is not working on all those cylinders…and why, with great regret, I consider it necessary that President Trump thank Mr. Giuliani profusely for his service, and let him go.

  • How about the latest AP hit job???
I love how they are doing this.

The next 10 words that came out of Trump’s mouth — “I would like you to do us a favor, though” — are what triggered the House impeachment inquiry that has imperiled his presidency.

Trump asked Zelenskiy to work with Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Attorney General William Barr to look into Biden and his son, who served on the board of a Ukrainian gas company.

I wish I could get my hands on each of these F***ing liars.

    • I read that, just didn’t get to writing about it. Nice of them to ignore the fact that Zelensky said he at no time felt pressured or under the threat of a quid pro quo demand.

    • Fascinating.

Using that criterion every President in the history of the country who ever asked anything of another head of state, which is to say every President in the history of the country, should have been impeached and removed from office.

    • The favor was to look into Crowdstrike not Biden. The media and D’s have muddied this so much we are talking past each other. Media and D’s are using the whistle-blowers accusations while Trump defenders are using the actual transcript of the call. That is why we can’t agree.
