While our media are diligently – desperately – trying to ignore the Joe/Hunter Biden Burisma scandal, here’s another one for them to do the same for.

Excerpted from Alana Goodman’s article for the Washington Examiner:

An investment firm linked to Hunter Biden received over $130 million in federal bailout loans while his father Joe Biden was vice president and routed profits through a subsidiary in the Cayman Islands, according to federal banking and corporate records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.

Financial experts said the offshore corporate structure could have been used to shield earnings from United States taxes.

Joe Biden was a key advocate for the financial bailout, which was approved under the Bush administration and expanded under President Barack Obama. He delayed his Senate resignation in January 2009 to cast his final vote to increase funding for the Troubled Asset Relief Program before taking office as vice president.

One of the firms that benefited was Rosemont Capital, a company led by Hunter Biden’s business partners, Chris Heinz and Devon Archer. The firm received the loans at a crucial time for Hunter Biden. The younger Biden had stepped down from his lobbying business in late 2008, reportedly due to pressure on his father’s vice presidential campaign.

Has Hunter Biden ever made a buck that daddy Joe wasn’t involved in?

And, in case you’re wondering whether mainstream media will be making anything of this fascinating connection, keep in mind that, with far greater resources than Ms. Goodman and Washington Examiner, they either could not find this apparently readily available information, or did find it and chose not to tell us about it.

Would they have done the same for a Republican presidential candidate?  Before you answer, please remember the week-long media coverage, in 2012, of an insensitive, stupid prank then-teenaged Mitt Romney played on another student in high school.

Hmm, Romney’s insensitive, stupid teenage prank versus Biden’s adult kid’s company benefiting $130 million dollar’s worth from legislation he personally pushed. Which do you think should generate more media attention?

In answer, don’t hang by your thumbs waiting for the media outcry aimed at either Biden.

Wrong party.
