About those media attacks on the Trump-kim summit…

It didn’t take long. Now a good many in the media are attacking the summit meeting between President Trump and kim jung-un. A point of order for them: This was a single meeting, lasting just a few hours.  If we are being advised correctly, it yielded a framework for denuclearization, a promise to return the remains of 6,000 or so of our fallen soldiers an DC the opening of a dialogue on...

The quote of the day

Today’s quote comes to us from the increasingly ridiculous, unhinged Nancy Pelosi. As leaders around the world, and media people who, normally, would not give President Trump the time of day, praise the results of his meeting with kim jung-un, here is the statement Ms. Pelosi issued: Nuclear nonproliferation is a pillar of America’s national security. We respect any serious and real...

The return of Korean war soldiers’ remains

The remains of roughly 6,000 fallen US soldiers have been held prisoner by North Korea for 65 years. At the news conference currently being held, President Trump told reporters he and kim jung-un had agreed those remains will come home. If that actually happens, it will be an accomplishment of monumental proportion. Regardless of what any of us thinks of Mr. Trump, let’s all hope this is...

The trump-kim agreement

Is the signing of an agreement between United States and North Korea historic? Yes. Will it result in denuclearization? If so amazing. If not, at least we tried. Did it open doors of communication between north and South Korea? Absolutely, and of major significance. To be continued…

The venezuela disaster (cont.)

No matter how insanely bad things get in nicolas maduro’s Venezuela, they can always get worse.   The extent of the carnage can be seen in this just-published article at Agence France Presse, via yahoo.com: Venezuela’s sky-high inflation soared to 24,571 percent in the past 12 months, lawmakers said Monday. President Nicolas Maduro’s socialist government controls most of the...

Why trump won in 2016, and why republicans just might do the same in 2018

Today’s Democrat Party.  It just doesn’t seem to learn. From Bill Barrow and Thomas Beaumont’s article for the Associated Press: A single-payer health care advocate in South Texas. A gun restriction supporter in Dallas. Cheerleaders in Arkansas and Iowa for public option health care. Weeks into the primary season, Democrats’ midterm class is shaping up to test what liberal...

Robert de niro’s trump rally

robert de niro has a pathological hatred for  President Donald Trump.  And I doubt Mr. Trump could benefit more from it. At last night’s 2018 Tony awards, de niro came onstage, and told the audience – including TV viewers – “Fuck Trump”.  Two times.  The audience, consisting primarily of entertainment people, responded with a standing ovation. How do you suppose...

Why democrats must get rid of Nancy Pelosi

The Q&A you are about to read is real. It occurred on Thursday. Take a good look, and see why Democrats must, and I do mean must, get rid of Nancy Pelosi as House Minority Leader.  Maybe get her to retire from Congress altogether. QUESTION: The unemployment rate in May was 3.8%, the lowest it has been in 18 years. Is that a good thing? REP. NANCY PELOSI: Well, as I said, the unemployment...

The quote of the day

Todsy’s quote comes to us from the execrable anti-Semite, Louis farrakhan. I assume you won’t need me to tell you why this latest hate-fest qualifies as such: “I wonder will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it, because Satan has deceived the whole world, and think about the message that I was blessed by...

The quote of the day

Today’s quote comes to us from one of my least favorite “entertainment” persinalities:  bill maher. This is what maher wishes on our country, to satisfy his hatred-on-steroids of Presudent Trump:  “I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point, and by the way, I’m hoping for it because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy,” Maher said...

Mueller’s strawberries

Remember that classic scene in The Caine Mutiny, when Captain Queeg, having been exposed as an incompetent ship’s captain, triumphantly talks about his one victory – proving that a few strawberries had been stolen from the mess Hall? Well, now we have the latter-day version of Queeg:  robert mueller. Over a year Into his “investigation” he has nothing.  No collusion...

They always seem to come in threes

How terribly sad. On the heels of suicides by Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, we now find out that the brilliant, Pulitzer prize winning author and commentator, Charles Krauthammer, has just a few weeks to live. Today, Mr. Krauthammer has gone public with what he tells us is his losing fight with cancer. As a political analyst, Mr. Krauthammer has always been right a great many more times than...

huckabee sanders vs. Cuomo

Following is a segment of a contentious interview between CNN’s Chris Cuomo and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, on immigration, the economy and the Democrats’ message for 2018 – with an emphasis on comments made by senate minority leader Chuck Schumer: CUOMO: Just interviewed Chuck Schumer. It will be on after you. He says that the president is a terrible...

The quote of the day

Today’s quote comes to us from Sean Hannity. It concerns the increasingly desperate robert mueller’s latest demand that witnesses involved with the charges brought against Paul Manafort – all of which concern activities from years before the 2016 election, thus have exactly nothing nothing to do with what mueller is supposed to be investigating – now must give him their...

The iran “deal” media coverage follow-up

In the previous blog I wondered how our mainstream media would address the newly discovered information about how President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry have given away the store to terrorist Iran, so they could take credit for making a “deal”. Well, now we know, via the following excerpt from Nicholas Fondacara’s article at newsbusters.org: According to a new Senate...
